The Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) has officially released the results of the Matriculation Supplementary Examination 2023. To view your results, click here.
Chairman Mohammad Adnan Khan and Controller of Examinations Professor Sajid Mehmood Farooqui revealed that a total of 13,275 candidates participated in the second annual examination, with 13,180 candidates taking the test.
Among them, 8,654 were male students, and 4,526 were female students. The overall success rate for the examination was 37.1%.
Breaking down the statistics, the chairman highlighted the success rate of female students, reaching an impressive 45.65%, surpassing the 32.62% success rate of male students.
The results are now accessible on the board's website, and students have been informed through the SMS service.
For those who did not pass or have compartmental results, there is a positive outlook. They will have the opportunity to participate in the annual matriculation exams starting from March 1, 2024.
In a move toward enhanced transparency, the BISE has introduced online submission of admission forms, a process that began on November 15.
Furthermore, the announcement that next year's matric results will be presented using a grading system signifies a departure from the current evaluation method.
