In a bid to foster goodwill and support the academic endeavors of students, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has unveiled an enticing offer in celebration of International Students Day.
The national flag carrier has declared an exclusive 20 percent discount, coupled with a remarkable 80 kg luggage allowance, for students traveling on its flights to China.
The special promotion comes as part of PIA's ongoing efforts to attract passengers and reinvigorate its operations after facing substantial financial setbacks due to fuel shortages.
Notably, the airline resumed its weekly flight to China in August, re-establishing the Islamabad-Beijing-Islamabad route.
Students, a vital demographic for air travel, can now benefit from significant cost savings as they embark on their educational journeys or return home for holidays.
The offer is particularly advantageous for those frequenting the Islamabad-Beijing route, with the weekly flight taking place every Sunday.
In addition to the 20 percent discount on tickets, PIA is considering extending students' baggage allowance when commuting between Pakistan and China. This additional perk is poised to further sweeten the deal for those taking advantage of this limited-time offer.
This announcement follows PIA's recent initiatives to entice passengers, including a 15 percent discount on tickets for those flying from Toronto to Pakistan.
Furthermore, PIA had recently slashed ticket prices for Umrah by up to Rs. 6,000, demonstrating a concerted effort to cater to diverse passenger needs and preferences.
