Speaking to media in Lahore, Raas said, ‘’Now is the time to stage the politics of the development, but not only pledges Now, it is up to us to work for the sake of the country. It is time to stage the politics in the right way.’’
He took a swipe at former Punjab chief minister Usman Buzdar, saying, ‘’Usman Buzdar was imposed on us.’’
Raas made it clear that the IPP will contest the upcoming elections under its own electoral symbol.
Recounting the IPP’s manifesto, Raas said, ‘’It is our manifesto to provide 300 units of free electricity to power consumers. The minimum wage will be fixed at Rs50,000.’’
– Country towards prosperity –
Few days back, IPP Spokesperson Firdous Ashiq Awan said that her party will lead the country towards prosperity under the leadership of Parton-in-Chief Jahangir Khan Tareen.
Addressing a press conference in Taxila, Firdous remembered noted poet and religious scholar Allama Iqbal on his birthday. ‘’Allama Iqbal had taught the theory of self.’’
‘’The PTI came into existence in line with the Iqbal’s philosophy of self. Whether the PTIHD achieved the goal of implementing Iqbal's philosophy,’’ Firdous took a dig at the PTI.
She schooled former first lady Bushra Bibi and Farah Gogi. ‘’The former first lady and Farah Gogi had plundered the national wealth and harmed the party [PTI]. Both of them (Bushra Bibi and Farah Gogi) had received billions of rupees.’’
