Lahore: Anti-Terrorism Court has granted bail to PTI activist Sanam Javed in a case of burning the office of Muslim League-Nawaz.
The court accepted the bail application of Sanam Javed against surety bonds of Rs200,000. It is pertinent to note that Sarwar Road police station has registered a case against the PTI activist.
Earlier. the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Friday issued the release order of the PTI activist Sanam Javed. The ATC issued release orders after the approval of the surety bonds in the case, but she was arrested again.
Sanam Javed was granted bail in the May 9 riots case. She was granted bail last week.
Last month, Lahore police re-arrested several Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) women just hours after they were released from Kot Lakhpat Jail on the orders of the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC).
The women who were arrested again include Sanam Javed, Afshan Tariq, Ashmiya Shuja, and Shah Bano.
An ATC on September 25 ordered the release of Sanam Javed and other PTI activists in the Jinnah House attack case that occurred on May 9.
The court approved their bail pleas against surety bonds worth Rs 0.1 million each.
The jail authorities freed the political workers today upon receiving a court order. However, they were arrested again as they were leaving the jail premises.
