Korean actress Jung Joo Yeon has made the decision to end her six-month-long marriage to a non-celebrity husband.
NEVER DIE Entertainment officially confirmed this news, stating that the couple has not been living together for the past month.
"It's true that last month, Jung Joo Yeon and her husband mutually agreed to end their marriage," the agency reported, as quoted by Soompi.
Interestingly, the agency revealed that Jung Joo Yeon and her husband had not registered their marriage, so there is no formal divorce filing required.
The news of the actress' separation quickly spread online and prompted various reactions from her fans.
Some expressed surprise, with one user questioning the short duration, saying, "Just 6 months?! Why not date first?" Another user emphasized the seriousness of marriage, advising, "Marriage is not a joke, if you are mentally ready, don't do it."
However, a more supportive comment read, "As long as you are not hurting anyone. Go for it."
Jung Joo-Yeon began her acting career in 2009 and has gained fame through her work in projects like Stormy Lovers, Princess Aurora, City Of The Sun, and Twenty, among others.
