Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Hamza Shehbaz stressed on Sunday the need for reviving the country’s economy in a bid to address the masses’ problems.
Speaking to media in Lahore, the former Punjab chief minister asserted, “PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif is facing fake cases against him.’’ He recounted the power outage, saying, “Nawaz Sharif had addressed the problems in line with the power outages for up to 16 hours.”
He maintained: “The day we left the power, the growth rate was 6 percent. We also had prepared arrangements to provide free electricity for up to 100 units. But due to the favouritism, the arrangements in this regard could not be made.”
“Even the lifesaving drugs to treat cancer were made unavailable,” Hamza bemoaned.
