The new Samsung Galaxy S24 series is set to make its debut in January, and here's the scoop.
A Korean news outlet called Biz SBS says the big reveal will happen on January 17 in the US, though there's a slight time zone twist that could explain why some thought it was January 18.
Samsung is really aiming to score big with the Galaxy S24 to boost its earnings, especially because their chip sales have slowed down recently.
But wait, there's more - on December 1, they're launching the Galaxy S23 FE in South Korea for $612.
That's significant because it's been a while since Samsung offered an FE model there.
Now, about the Galaxy S24 Ultra, it's packing the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, which means better performance. Benchmarks showed the main core can go up to 3.4 GHz, and the rest are similar to the previous version.
There's even a version with 12 GB of RAM and a new One UI 6.1 operating system. They might also juice up the graphics, but we're waiting for confirmation on that.
