Uorfi Javed, a social media sensation and fashion icon known for her bold and unconventional fashion choices, recently made headlines when a video surfaced showing her being arrested at a Mumbai cafe for her choice of attire. In the video, a group of female police officers approached Uorfi at the cafe and informed her that she was being taken into custody due to her revealing outfit.
One officer remarked, “Itne chote chote kapde kaun pehenke kaun ghumta hai?” which roughly translates to, "Who roams around wearing such tiny clothes?" Uorfi, dressed in a backless red top and denim pants, was then escorted to the police station.
The video quickly went viral, leading to a frenzy on social media. While some criticized Uorfi for what they believed was a prank or promotional stunt, Mumbai police later clarified that they had not actually arrested her.
Uorfi Javed has been a controversial figure due to her bold fashion choices, which often involve outfits made from unconventional materials such as blades, bottle caps, and flowers. Last month, a complaint was filed against her for her fashion choices at the Bandra Police Station.

Additionally, Uorfi recently claimed to have received rape and death threats after recreating the iconic look of Chota Pandit from the film "Bhool Bhulaiyaa." This role, originally portrayed by Rajpal Yadav in the 2007 Bollywood movie, remains one of his most popular characters.
Uorfi Javed’s arrest at the Mumbai cafe has ignited discussions about dress codes, freedom of expression, and the boundaries of fashion in Indian society. As her bold style continues to make waves, Uorfi remains a polarizing figure in the world of entertainment and fashion.
