The accountability court of Lahore has summoned former prime minister Shehbaz Sharif and his son, PML-N Vice President Hamza Shehbaz, in the Ramzan Sugar Mills reference.
Accountability Court judge Malik Ali Zulqarnain Awan conducted a hearing on the reference.
After the orders of the Supreme Court, the NAB Lahore office had sent the Ramzan Sugar Mills reference back to the court. After scrutiny, the reference was presented to the court for hearing.
Taking action, the court issued summons notices to Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz. The court has summoned the father-son duo on November 29.
Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz are accused of constructing a nullah for their sugar mills worth Rs250 million from the national treasury.
