The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa authorities have officially declared the new date for the re-conduct of the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MD CAT) in the province.
The MD CAT test is set to take place once again on November 26, offering a fresh chance for aspiring medical students to prove their mettle.
The decision comes after a meticulous review of the Bluetooth scandal, which had marred the credibility of the initial test. To ensure the utmost transparency and integrity of the re-organized MDCAT, the authorities are leaving no stone unturned.
They will collaborate with a coalition of law enforcement and intelligence agencies, including the police, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), and the Intelligence Bureau.
A staggering 46,658 candidates have registered to participate in the upcoming MDCAT test. However, in a stern response to the previous cheating scandal, 219 candidates have had their registrations canceled.
This rigorous approach underlines the commitment of the authorities to maintain the highest standards of fairness and merit in the admission process.
