In a heartwarming moment during his foot march from Jamnagar to Dwarka in Gujarat, Anant Ambani, the son of industrialist Mukesh Ambani, has caught the attention of social media users by rescuing a flock of poultry chickens destined for slaughter.
The incident, which occurred on April 1, 2025, has since gone viral, generating discussions across platforms.
While undertaking his 120 km padyatra from Jamnagar to Dwarka, Anant Ambani stopped a van near Khambhalia town in the Devbhumi Dwarka district when he discovered that it was transporting chickens to be slaughtered. In a viral video, Anant is seen holding a hen and instructing his team to "save" all the chickens from the van. He also ensured that the owner of the poultry was compensated for the rescued animals, showcasing a strong commitment to animal welfare.
The march is a spiritual journey of gratitude and devotion, covering nearly 10 km each night under heavy security. Speaking about his march, Anant expressed gratitude for being able to undertake the journey, crediting Lord Dwarkadhish’s blessings. He expects to reach Dwarka in 2 to 4 days.
The video of Anant rescuing the chickens has sparked reactions across Twitter. Many praised his act of kindness and expressed admiration for someone of his stature taking a stand for animal rights.
