Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated across the country with religious enthusiasm, as mosques and Eidgahs in various cities hosted spiritually uplifting congregational prayers attended by large numbers of worshippers. Special prayers were offered for the unity of the Muslim Ummah, as well as for the peace, prosperity, and development of Pakistan.
Following the prayers, people embraced each other, setting aside grievances and exchanging heartfelt Eid greetings.
In Islamabad, the central Eid prayer gathering was held at Faisal Mosque, while Lahore’s Badshahi Mosque and Karachi’s Polo Ground also hosted significant congregational prayers. These gatherings were attended by key government officials, political leaders, and social figures.

Eid prayers were also held at the Governor House Sindh, where Governor Kamran Tessori, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Farooq Sattar, and other prominent figures participated. Karachi's Polo Ground also saw an important Eid gathering, attended by the city’s mayor and various political and social personalities.
Across Karachi, over 4,000 Eid prayer gatherings took place, with hundreds of thousands of worshippers joining in unity.
The grand Eid prayer was also performed at Shah Faisal Mosque in Islamabad. Similar congregations were held in Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, Multan, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Mardan, Sibi, Murree, Gilgit, Sargodha, Bahawalpur, Jhang, and numerous other cities and towns, where millions of people took part in the prayers.
After the Eid prayers, many citizens visited graveyards to offer prayers and recite Fatiha for their deceased loved ones.
