A PML-N leader from Azad Jammu and Kashmir, who had travelled to Lahore to welcome Nawaz Sharif, died in an accident on his way back to AJK on Sunday morning.
Mahmoodul Hassan Raja had travelled to Lahore from Kotli, AJK on Saturday to participate in the reception for PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif at Minar-e-Pakistan.
However, on his way back, the central PML-N leaders’ car fell off into a deep ditch near Islamgarh tehsil of Mirpur district in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, killing him on the spot.
It is worth noting that PML-N supremo and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif returned home after four years on Saturday. Nawaz Sharif's plane landed at Islamabad International Airport where Ishaq Dar and Azam Nazeer Tarar welcomed him. Later, after meeting with his legal team, Nawaz Sharif travelled to Lahore where he addressed a reception rally at Minar-e-Pakistan.
