During the episode, Danish stated that he has the right to marry four times but has chosen not to exercise that right. The comment sparked an immediate backlash, with many calling his remark unnecessary and insensitive. While some defended him, arguing that he was simply stating a religious perspective, others criticized him for making such a statement in the presence of his wife, labelling it as arrogant and tone-deaf.

Following the criticism, Danish Taimoor addressed the controversy in a later episode of his show. When co-host Rabia Anum brought up the backlash, Danish responded by saying that he is where he is today by the grace of Allah SWT and questioned why people were asking Rabia about a statement he made. He also advised her not to be overly concerned about public reactions.
The internet remains divided—while some believe he was just expressing his point of view, others continue to call out his choice of words, branding him a "red flag" for his stance on marriage.
