Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan on Thursday urged the incumbent government to take the parliament on board over the Jaffar Express attack.
Speaking exclusively to Samaa TV, Khan paid homage to the security forces for a successful operation against extremists. "We commend the efforts of the security forces."
Meanwhile, expressing his thoughts during the National Assembly session, Khan, while condemning the tragic incident, said, "We deeply extend our sympathy to the affected families."
"The Army is rendering the sacrifices for the sake of the country," said Khan.
On the other side, addressing a press conference, PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja said, "The PTI is standing with the masses during the difficult hour."
"This is not the time to debar any political party. This is not the time to stage the politics. We want to summon the All-Parties Conference (APC)," said Raja.
Raja maintained, "We [PTI] have nothing to do with those who have posted the controversial tweets in line with the Jaffar Express attack. Some of the people are made to represent the PTI. These accounts have been used against the security institutions."
