The Government of Pakistan has set a firm deadline for illegal foreign nationals and Afghan citizen cardholders to leave the country, with just 22 days remaining until the expiry of the deadline.
A decision was made by the government to ensure that all such individuals depart by March 31.
The Pakistani government has ordered that all foreign nationals and Afghan citizen cardholders residing illegally in the country must vacate by the end of March. The official deadline has now been set, leaving only 22 days for compliance with the directive.
According to the Pakistani government, the authorities have assured the public that no mistreatment would befall any individual during the evacuation process. It was further confirmed that all necessary arrangements for the provision of food and health facilities have been put in place for those departing the country.
A representative of the government of Pakistan expressed that the deportees must ensure that they meet all legal requirements if they wish to remain in the country.
