Renowned Indian cricket commentator on Sunday believed that India were some distance by premier white-ball team in the world.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Bhogle said: “What a wonderful tournament we’ve had. 23 wins out of 24 results is astonishing.”
He acknowledged the Indian batting prowess, saying, “India’s batting depth is unbelievable and with, effectively, four all-rounders, it would need teams to play at a very high level to get past them.”
“This is as good as I have seen a team play white-ball cricket,” he said.
Bhogle added, “This is a great ensemble cast, and it only works when everyone playing their designated roles plays them to perfection.”
He also acknowledged the talent of Axar Patel, KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya.
