Afghanistan and England will lock horns against each other in a do-or-die clash in the 8th match of the Champions Trophy 2025 at the revamped Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Wednesday (February 26).
According to details, both the teams were practing to brace for the virtual knockout match.
Earlier today, the match between South Africa and Australia postponed due to the rain.

Meanwhile, Afghanistan captain Hashmatullah Shahidi hailed former Pakistan cricketer Younis Khan as "legend", vowing to learn from it.
He expressed optimism that the Afghan spinners will get help from the Lahore wicket, contrary to the conditions in Karachi.
It is pertinent to note that India and New Zealand had already qualified for the semi-finals, as both Bangladesh and host Pakistan were eliminated from the tournament.
