Pakistani celebrity and renowned host Mathira, known for her bold personality and candid opinions, recently addressed an unsettling incident involving entertainer Chahat Fateh Ali Khan during her show.
The incident unfolded during a show recording when Chahat Fateh Ali Khan made Mathira uncomfortable by attempting to touch her. While Mathira maintained her composure on set, her discomfort was apparent. Matters escalated when Chahat Fateh Ali Khan later shared a behind-the-scenes (BTS) video of the encounter on social media without Mathira’s consent.
Speaking about the incident, Mathira expressed her disappointment over the video’s circulation. “I want to clarify that the viral video was not shared with my permission,” Mathira stated. She emphasized the professionalism of her team, explaining that they treat every guest with respect, but this action went beyond what was acceptable.
Addressing her discomfort, Mathira said, “Yes, I felt uncomfortable. People do different things for fame, but no one has the right to touch me or film me without my consent. I am a bold celebrity, but that doesn’t mean anyone can hug or touch me without reason.”

The host further revealed that her team had reached out to Chahat Fateh Ali Khan, requesting him to take the video down, but he neither deleted it nor apologized. “I don’t know his intentions, but it’s disappointing. After incidents like this, people accuse us of being rude, but it’s essential to set boundaries,” she asserted.

Mathira made it clear that she would not tolerate such behaviour in the future, firmly stating, “No one is allowed to touch me.”
