Legendary singer Asha Bhosle’s granddaughter Zanai Bhosle and Indian cricketer Mohammed Siraj have refuted rumours of being in a relationship after a photo of the two sparked speculation on social media.
The rumours began circulating when Zanai shared a picture of herself with Siraj from her recent birthday celebration, attended by several prominent figures, including Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff and cricketers Mohammed Siraj and Shreyas Iyer.
The image went viral, with many questioning the nature of Zanai and Siraj’s relationship.
To address the controversy, both Zanai and Siraj took to social media, firmly denying the claims. Zanai clarified their bond by reposting the photo on her Instagram Stories with the caption, “Mere pyaare bhai (my dear brother),” accompanied by sparkle and flower emojis.
The pace ace shared the same photo on his Instagram Story, adding, “Meri behen ke jaisi koi behna nahin. Bina iske kahin bhi mujhe rehna nahin. Jaise hai chaand sitaaron mein, meri behna hai ek hazaaro mein (There is no one like my sister. I don’t want to stay anywhere without her. My sister is one of a kind, like the moon and stars).”
Zanai later re-shared Siraj’s post with a heart emoji, further emphasizing their sibling-like relationship and putting the rumours to rest.
