Former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Thursday made a new demand from his legal team to fulfil the legal requirements and provide him with an exercise machine in jail.
It is pertinent to note that PTI Chairman Imran Khan was arrested from his Zaman Park residence in Lahore, moments after the Islamabad sessions court sentenced him to three years imprisonment and disqualified him for five years in the Toshakhana criminal case on August 6.
Imran Khan was transferred to Attock Jail as part of his detention where his medical examination was conducted. Following this, he was moved to Adiala Jail.
PTI legal team member Sher Afzal Marwat, talking to media persons after meeting with Imran Khan on Thursday, claimed that the PTI chairman asked for an exercise machine, so he could exercise on a daily basis.
According to a report submitted in the apex court, PTI Chairman Imran Khan has been provided better facilities at Attock Jail.
The attorney general’s office had submitted a report to the Supreme Court regarding the facilities provided to the former prime minister in the jail.
According to the report, Imran Khan is served desi chicken cooked in desi ghee upon his request.
He is also given mutton prepared in desi ghee, according to the report.
It was informed that ex-premier has been given all the facilities according to the jail manual, rules, and law.

The report also debunks Imran Khan’s propaganda regarding facilities offered in the jail.
According to the report, he is being kept at the most secure high observation block. The barracks adjacent to his have also been vacated.
Imran Khan is being kept in a 9x11- sized barrack where there is a fan, concrete floor along with washing facility.
