Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb said on Tuesday that the Pakistan's economy was on the verge of the speedy recovery.
Expressing his thoughts at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Aurangzeb said: "The country has witnessed the significant decrease in the interest rate. The gross domestic product (GDP) of the country is on the verge of improvement".
He stated, "Some of the biggest problems Pakistan is facing are the increasing population and climate change."
Aurangzeb said, "The work is being done on many programmes in Pakistan in line with the World Bank."
Meanwhile, Aurangzeb held a meeting with the Tunisian finance minister. On this occasion, both the leaders resolved to boost the bilateral ties between Pakistan and Tunisia.
Both the parties had decided to bolster the ties in different sectors between the two countries.
