The federal government's negotiation team has finalized a detailed written response to the demands presented by PTI.
According to sources, the response addresses each point raised by PTI, including the refusal to form a judicial commission for the May 9 events.
The government clarified that judicial commissions are established for matters not under judicial review, and cases related to May 9 are already being heard in courts, with some individuals sentenced by military courts.
PTI has agreed to negotiate with the Prime Minister's committee. An in-camera session has been scheduled at Parliament House to discuss the matter further.
The written response also seeks detailed lists of missing persons and arrested individuals from PTI, questioning how steps for their release could be taken without proper details. Additionally, PTI’s claims regarding fatalities during protests require substantiating evidence.
The government committee plans to present the written response to National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq in the coming days. The Speaker will decide on holding the fourth round of talks once the response is received.
