Samsung has officially confirmed its first Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event, set for January 22, where it will unveil the Galaxy S25 Ultra, alongside the standard Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+.
The event will also showcase the next generation of Galaxy AI and new Samsung accessories.
Ahead of the launch, Samsung has opened early registration for customers interested in the Galaxy S25 Ultra and its AI-powered features. Those who register before January 21 will receive a $50 credit towards additional purchases.
Samsung is also offering an enhanced trade-in program, with top values reaching $900—though this applies primarily to last year’s Galaxy S24 Ultra. Other smartphones, including Apple and Google models, will be accepted but at lower trade-in values.
A separate $300 credit will also be available for select "qualifying products," likely including new Galaxy Buds, smartwatches, and possibly the rumoured Galaxy Ring. Additionally, one lucky registrant will win a $5,000 Samsung credit voucher.
Pre-orders for the Galaxy S25 Ultra are expected to open immediately after the Unpacked event on January 22, though some reports suggest a delay until January 24. This period will last until February 4, offering exclusive perks such as free storage upgrades and limited-edition colours available only via Samsung.com.
The official launch date is set for February 7, when pre-ordered devices will start shipping, and the Galaxy S25 Ultra will hit retail stores worldwide.
