Students from various universities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa visited the historic Bala Hisar Fort in Peshawar, where they paid homage to the martyrs by offering flowers and reciting prayers for their high ranks.
During the visit, the students were briefed about the operational activities of Frontier Corps North and the historical significance of Bala Hisar Fort, particularly during the Sikh and British eras. The students were also given an insight into the fort's strategic importance in past military conflicts.
The group also toured the fort’s museum, which houses artifacts preserving the rich history of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The students expressed their admiration for the fort, calling it a symbol of the province's pride.
Reflecting on the visit, the students thanked the Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (North) for facilitating the tour. They acknowledged the invaluable sacrifices made by the Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps in the defense of the homeland.
The students further appreciated the efforts made by the Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps in preserving the historical site, emphasising their role in safeguarding the nation’s heritage and countering negative propaganda.
