A light drizzle has intensified the cold in Lahore as intermittent rain showers are expected to continue throughout the day, according to the Meteorological Department.
The weather change has been felt across various parts of the city, with clouds covering areas such as Garhi Shahu, Mall Road, Anarkali, Samanabad, Chowk Yatim Khana, Iqbal Town, Township, Johar Town, Thokar Niaz Baig, and Chungi Amar Sidhu.
As the drizzle persists, temperatures are expected to remain low, with the minimum likely to dip to 9°C, while the maximum temperature is predicted to reach a modest 16°C. The current temperature in Lahore has been recorded at 11°C, adding to the chilly atmosphere in the city.
The Meteorological Department has advised residents to brace for more rain, particularly in the afternoon and evening hours, which will further increase the cold intensity.
