Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shaukat Yousafzai warned on Thursday that failure to show flexibility on two key demands would lead to continued civil disobedience.
Expressing his thoughts, Yousafzai stated: "The government has until 30 January to negotiate with the party. The PTI finalised two demands to advance negotiations."
"These included the release of innocent political workers and the formation of a judicial commission to investigate incidents on 9 May and 26 November," he maintained.
He said: "The talks could not progress unless the government accepted these conditions. The PTI finalised its agenda and ruled out any compromise.
"The civil disobedience movement announced by the PTI founder remained in place," maintained Yousafzai.
He reiterated that the PTI would continue protests if the government failed to address these demands by the deadline.
