Stage actress Nargis and her husband Majid Bashir have reconciled and the petitioner has withdrawn his interim bail from the Lahore District and Sessions court.
An additional session judge heard Majid Bashir's interim bail petition, where the defense argued that the wife had filed the case based on false allegations.
The petition stated that the issue was between husband and wife, and the court should grant interim bail. During the hearing, both parties submitted a reconciliation agreement to the court.
Nargis' lawyer informed the court that the couple's elders had facilitated the reconciliation, and Nargis forgave her husband upon their request.
The agreement assured that neither party would violate the terms of the settlement. Based on this reconciliation, Majid Bashir withdrew his interim bail, and the court dismissed the request.
The actress had earlier filed a case of assault against her husband at the Defence C Police Station.
