After being thumped in the first Test narrowly, the Pakistan national cricket team was looking to bounce back in the series against South Africa.
According to details surfaced on Wednesday, the Green Shirts had carried out the practice session ahead of the second Test match against the Proteas, slated to happen on January 3 (Friday) at the Newlands Cricket Ground in Cape Town.
The Pakistani cricketers had practice with both bat and ball. The Men in Green had also engaged in practicing the fielding drills.
In the first match, it was the resistance from Kagiso Rabada and Marco Jansen’s willow that helped the home side to clinch a tense victory against the visitors, giving South Africa the 1-0 lead over the hosts.
