As the chilly embrace of winter looms on the horizon, concerns have mounted among Pakistani citizens about potential gas load shedding, a predicament that can severely disrupt daily routines, especially cooking and heating in households.
Recently, unsubstantiated rumors regarding a specific gas supply schedule for the upcoming winter were widely circulated on social media, leading to anxiety among the public.
The erroneous information, which circulated on various social platforms, including X, claimed that gas would only be available during specified hours, causing many to consider purchasing expensive liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) as an alternative means to meet their winter fuel needs. The rumored schedule suggested that gas would be accessible from 6-9 am, 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, and from 5:30 to 8:30 pm.

This swift response from SNGPL aimed to alleviate the growing fears among citizens and assure them of the gas company's commitment to reliable service.
