Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to form a “strike force,” sources revealed told SAMAA TV.
The initiative aims to identify and develop 50 talented hard-hitting batters from across the country on merit.
According to PCB insiders, the selection process will be led by former all-rounder Abdul Razzaq, ensuring the inclusion of promising players from all regions.
The selected players will undergo specialized training to master hitting long sixes and fours, with the goal of enhancing their power-hitting capabilities.
PCB sources stated that the purpose of the "Strike Force" is to provide fresh talent for the national T20 squad.
The program aims to prepare these young players within a year, integrating them into the team to boost its overall performance.
