Pakistan national cricket team captain Babar Azam expressed on Friday optimism about breaking the record against India.
Expressing his thoughts ahead of Pakistan’s all-important clash against India, Babar Azam said, ‘’I don’t care about the past record. We believe as a team to show a strong performance against India.’’
‘’The entire crowd will rally behind India against Pakistan tomorrow. The toss can play a crucial role in the match,’’ Babar Azam added.

He admitted that during the match against Sri Lanka, the team’s fielding was not up to par. ‘’If we have to win the World Cup, we have to improve our fielding,’’ Babar Azam stated.
‘’It does take a single defeat to lose captaincy; neither one can save captaincy by winning a match for the team,’’ Babar Azam added
He was of the view that batting in the second inning is much easier than in the first in Indian conditions.
