Millie Bobby Brown, who captivated audiences as ‘Eleven’ in Netflix's Stranger Things, shared a heartfelt goodbye to the show as filming for its final season concluded.
The 20-year-old actress took to Instagram on December 20 to express her emotions, posting a black-and-white video accompanied by behind-the-scenes photos from the series.
"Isn’t graduation supposed to bring relief, like you’re glad to leave behind the teachers and classmates? Not me," Brown began, her voice breaking as she likened the show's conclusion to a graduation she wasn’t ready for.
Fighting back tears, she continued, "I am nowhere near ready to leave you guys. I love every one of you, and I’ll forever carry the memories and bonds we’ve created together as a family."

The post, captioned "With love, el," included nostalgic images of her journey as Eleven, the telekinetic young girl who became an iconic character since the show's debut in 2016.
Brown, who also starred in Enola Holmes, shared the deep emotional connection she felt with her co-stars and crew, calling them her family.
This year has been a milestone for the actress, who also tied the knot with Jake Bongiovi earlier in 2024. As fans eagerly await the final season, Brown’s emotional farewell underscores the end of an era for the beloved sci-fi series.
