The coastal city of Gwadar will host the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) Player Draft on January 11, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced.
Highlighting the significance of this decision, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi stated, "Hosting the HBL PSL Player Draft in Gwadar aims to showcase its cultural and economic importance."
PCB COO Salman Naseer added, "This initiative reflects our commitment to extending HBL PSL's reach to every corner of Pakistan while presenting the country's beauty to the world."

The event's start time will be shared closer to the scheduled date.
The decision to select Gwadar was made to bring the popular sport to this region of the province and inspire the next generation to adopt cricket as a professional career.

The announcement regarding player relegation and retention will be made by the end of December.
