Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar has said that his government has nothing to do with the decision of the former prime minister Nawaz Sharif to return.
In an interview to a digital media platform, the interim PM said the impression of a deal by the caretaker government with anyone for the return of Nawaz Sharif was not correct.
“How can the caretaker government undertake any such deal?” Kakar stressed, adding that there is no soft corner for any political party, including the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

The three-time prime minister went out of the country with the permission of the court during the PTI regime.
“If Nawaz Sharif wants to come back and participate in politics, he will face many legal hurdles,” the caretaker premier remarked.
Whether it is Asif Zardari, Nawaz Sharif or Imran Khan, they will have to find a legal solution to all the cases, he added.
