In the exchange market, the value of the US dollar saw a slight decrease against the Pakistani rupee.
Currency dealers reported that on the last trading day of the week, the dollar's value in the interbank market dropped by 4 paisas, settling at Rs. 277.90.
It is worth noting that during the previous trading session, the dollar initially lost value at the start of the day but regained it by the close of business.
Meanwhile, the stock market hit a historic milestone, surpassing the 109,000 points mark for the first time, with an impressive surge of over 1,100 points at the start of trading.
