The Sindh Education Department has decided to retain its existing schedule for winter and summer vacations during a Steering Committee meeting held to discuss the academic calendar.
As per the decision, winter vacations will take place from December 22 to 31, while summer vacations will be observed from June 1 to July 31.
The meeting also finalized the dates for matriculation and intermediate examinations. Exams for 9th and 10th grades are scheduled to begin on March 15, while 11th and 12th-grade exams will commence on April 15.
The results for matriculation will be announced by July 15, and intermediate results will follow on August 15.
For the academic year 2025, schools in Sindh will begin their new session on April 1. Meanwhile, colleges will start their academic year on August 1, 2025.
