Former federal minister Faisal Vawda expressed on Thursday his admiration for JUI-F supremo Fazlur Rehman’s role in reducing political hatred in the country.
Speaking to media following his meeting with Rehman, the former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) stalwart expressed his resolve to approach various political and religious leaders, including the JUI-F, Jamaat-e-Islami and others to end divisive politics.
Vawda remarked on the mistreatment of Rehman’s mandate in KP. He emphasised the fair recognition of the political representation.
"The rivalry should not escalate to hostility or violence," Vawda said.
He acknowledged Rehman’s sincerity towards the PTI during critical times.

"My political understanding deepened through interactions with Fazlur Rehman," he said.
Vawda stated: "The discussions have been held on the madrassah reforms and the 26th constitutional amendment."
He also pointed out the existence of a the national government and called for collective efforts to create a win-win situation for the country.
