Pakistan's playing XI for the first T20I of the Pakistan-Zimbabwe series has been unveiled, with Salman Agha named as captain. The match is scheduled to take place tomorrow, marking the start of the much-anticipated series.
The squad features a mix of experienced players and emerging talent. Saim Ayub, Omair Bin Yousuf, Usman Khan, Tayyab Tahir, and Irfan Khan have all been selected for the lineup.

In the bowling department, Jhandad Khan, Abbas Afridi, and pace spearhead Haris Rauf have been included, alongside spinners Abrar Ahmed and Sufyan Moqim, rounding off a well-balanced team.
Earlier on Saturday, Pakistan T20I captain Salman Ali Agha emphasised the importance of winning the T20I series. Addressing a press conference, Agha described the series as an opportunity for young players to showcase their talent. He mentioned plans to test the team's bench strength in the T20Is and acknowledged the positive momentum from the successful ODI series, which they aimed to carry forward.

Highlighting the team's spinners, Agha expressed confidence in their ability to perform in the T20I squad. Citing their strong domestic performances, he urged young players to capitalise on the chances provided.
He said: "T20I cricket often revolves around impactful spells or individual performances."
Agha acknowledged Zimbabwe's strength on their home ground and affirmed his team's intent to prevent the hosts from dominating.
