Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N) Supremo Nawaz Sharif held a cordial meeting with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko on Wednesday in Murree.
Upon his arrival, President Lukashenko greeted Nawaz Sharif with open arms - offering a heartfelt hug.
In return, the former premier warmly welcomed his Belarusian counterpart, accompanied by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
During their interaction, President Lukashenko expressed his happiness at the opportunity to meet his “esteemed brother” after a long time.
The two leaders exchanged pleasantries, reinforcing the growing diplomatic ties between Pakistan and Belarus.
The Belarusian president’s arrival in Murree was marked by a special luncheon in his honour, hosted by Nawaz Sharif.
The event was attended by prominent figures, including Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, who joined in extending a warm welcome to the distinguished guest.
