Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senior leader Shazia Marri condemned on Tuesday an "anarchist" group, accusing it of spreading hatred and destabilising the nation.
Speaking on Tuesday, Marri stated that the group was attempting to politicise the recent visit of the Belarusian President, undermining efforts to attract foreign investment.
“These individuals always seek to make beneficial initiatives controversial. The foreign investment and international delegations should be welcomed wholeheartedly as they pave the way for Pakistan's economic revival,” maintained Marri.
Marri highlighted that during their tenure, an authoritarian regime left the economy in ruins and pushed Pakistan into global isolation. She called for unity, urging all political forces to prioritize the nation’s progress over divisive tactics.
The PPP leader also criticised the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa-led government for its inaction during the recent tragedy in Parachinar, where innocent lives were lost. “This anarchist group continues to gamble with the country’s future while real issues, such as the protection of lives, remain neglected,” she asserted.
