Former Lahore Qalandars head coach Aaqib Javed is likely to be appointed as the Pakistan national cricket team’s white-ball coach.
Sources divulged on Sunday that Javed will take up the responsibility of the head coach during Pakistan's tour of Zimbabwe.
Pakistan and New Zealand will lock horns against each other in a three-match T20I series from November 24.

Separately on Saturday, former Pakistan cricketer Mohammad Yousuf decided to part ways with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
Sources divulged that the legendary batter had decided to quit the National Cricket Academy (NCA). Ghulam Ali had been appointed as the Pakistan U-19 coach.
Yousuf was assuming responsibilities as the batting coach at the NCA and was also coaching the Pakistan U-19 team.
Prior to becoming the batting coach, Yusuf also remained part of the selection committee.
