The 12th International Defense Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS 2024) is scheduled to take place at the Karachi Expo Center from November 19 to 22, organized by the Ministry of Defense and Defense Export Promotion Organization (DEPO).
The biennial event serves as a premier platform for the global defense industry to showcase products, establish joint ventures, and explore technical collaborations within the Asian defense market. The exhibition has been identified as a priority sector by the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).
The upcoming exhibition will feature a comprehensive display of modern and conventional defense equipment, weapons systems, and military vehicles. The previous edition attracted 532 companies from 38 countries, highlighting the event's international significance.
High-level delegations, including defense analysts, exhibitors, and policy makers, are expected to participate in the four-day event. The exhibition aims to demonstrate Pakistan's capabilities in defense manufacturing while promoting international cooperation.
The event focuses on facilitating defense exports, outsourcing opportunities, and technological partnerships among participating nations. IDEAS has established itself as a significant forum for showcasing Pakistan's defense industrial capabilities to the global market.
DEPO organizes this exhibition biennially to promote Pakistan's defense industry internationally and create opportunities for collaboration in the defense sector.
