Prominent political and social personalities gathered at the residence of Abdul Aleem Khan, the President of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP), to offer their condolences and prayers on the passing of his mother-in-law.
Among those in attendance were Justice R. Tassaduq Jilani, General (retd) Afzal Janjua, former federal minister Rana Tanveer, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan, Colonel Hashim Dogar, Chaudhry Aminul Haq, and Ayesha Chaudhry. They paid their respects and expressed their sympathy to Abdul Aleem Khan.
Other dignitaries who visited to offer their condolences included former Sindh Chief Secretary Raja Muhammad Abbas, President of the Federal Union of Journalists Afzal Butt, and Malik Saif ul Malook Khokhar, President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PL-N) Lahore. Former provincial ministers Chaudhry Akhlaq Hussain, Mian Khalid Mahmood, and Shoaib Siddiqui also joined in offering prayers for the deceased.
It is worth noting that the IPP president, recently suffered the loss of his mother-in-law, who was the spouse of Justice (R) Raja Muhammad Sabir.
