Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif condemned this morning's bomb blast at Quetta’s railway station, directing the Balochistan government to provide a thorough investigation report on the tragic incident.
The blast claimed at least 24 lives and left around 57 injured, drawing national outcry and condolences from top leadership.
In a statement, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed deep sorrow over the loss of life and prayed for those who passed away in the attack, urging that all necessary medical aid be provided to the injured as a priority.
He vowed that the perpetrators responsible for targeting innocent citizens will face severe consequences.
Acting President Yousuf Raza Gilani also expressed his heartfelt condolences to the grieving families and condemned the attack, calling terrorists “enemies of humanity” who deliberately harm innocent people.

He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to combating terrorism, stating that all possible measures would be taken to eradicate it completely.
National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq also expressed solidarity with the bereaved families, stressing that he stands by them during this difficult time. He condemned the attackers, labeling them as enemies of humanity.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, sharing his sorrow over the loss of precious lives, added that such “cowardly” attacks aimed at destabilizing Pakistan would not be tolerated. He assured that the nation would stand united in facing down this “heinous conspiracy” against the country.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has called for immediate action and a comprehensive investigation to bring those responsible to justice. Meanwhile, top officials across the government emphasized their resolve to maintain stability and security in the face of such challenges.
