The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on Friday announced a public holiday on the occasion of Iqbal Day (November 9) , which is celebrated in honour of the birth of the national poet, Allama Iqbal.
According to details, earlier, the Cabinet Division had also announced a public holiday on November 9 to observe Iqbal Day.
The notification issued by the Cabinet Division confirms that all government offices, institutions, and schools will remain closed on this day.

Earlier, the Kot Addu deputy commissioner issued a holiday notification declaring Friday, November 8, a public holiday across the district due to the Thal Jeep rally.

The decision aims to facilitate residents and visitors participating in or attending the highly anticipated rally.
