Kartik Aaryan is enjoying professional success this Diwali season with his latest release, 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3', performing well at theaters across India.
The actor has been on a busy streak with back-to-back major projects, including 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' and 'Chandu Champion', which has left him little time for personal life — or dating, as he recently shared.
In a chat with Mashable India, Kartik confirmed that he’s single and doesn’t use any dating apps, citing his intense work schedule as the reason. “I am single. I don’t have to send my live location to anyone. I am not even present in any dating applications. Technically, since the time I have been preparing and shooting for Chandu Champion, I didn’t get the time.”
He added that his busy prep and filming for 'Chandu Champion', where he portrays boxer-turned-para swimmer Murlikant Petkar, has kept him occupied. “I was in such a strict regimen, in which I had to calculate my gym, eating, and sleeping pattern, just like an athlete. All of that went on for two years. In fact, I was also learning swimming for the very first time. The routine became so hectic. Plus, shooting for 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' and finishing it in a specific period of time was also a challenge. So, I was completely busy with all that."
Released on the Diwali weekend, 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' has been a commercial hit, collecting over 150 crore INR globally in its first weekend and maintaining strong performance. In India, it earned 17.50 crore INR net on Monday, bringing its four-day domestic total to 123.50 crore INR, while overseas, it grossed over ₹30 crore during the opening weekend.
