Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has inaugurated the province’s largest mechanized farming initiative, launching the distribution of super seeders to farmers at the Rice Research Institute in Kalashah Kakoo.
The Super Seeder project aims to transform agricultural practices across Punjab, setting the stage for increased productivity and modernization in the sector.
Maryam Nawaz announced a new rental service for advanced agricultural equipment, expected to begin in every tehsil within 60 days, with zero-profit rentals to support farmers. "The path to progress is through the field," she stated, affirming the government's commitment to empowering Punjab's agricultural community.
In her address, the Chief Minister highlighted the ambitious goal of increasing the number of super seeders from 300 to 5,000 over the next five years, underscoring the Pakistan Muslim League-N's (PML-N) dedication to agricultural innovation.
She emphasized that PML-N's initiatives are essential for the region's growth and development, signaling a transformative era for Punjab’s farmers.
