With the onset of poor air quality, cases of respiratory illnesses are on the rise, particularly affecting children and the elderly.
Consultant physician Dr. Yasir Yaqub warned of the increased risk of asthma and other respiratory diseases, advising citizens, especially vulnerable groups, to wear masks and stay hydrated to mitigate health risks.
Medical experts emphasize that precautions, including mandatory mask usage, are essential to guard against the hazardous smog affecting the city.
