Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has condemned the recent wave of terrorist attacks, including a Kharijite assault on an FC check post in Dera Ismail Khan.
The attack resulted in the martyrdom of 10 Frontier Corps (FC) personnel at the Zam check post. Additionally, firing incidents targeted security officials in Bannu and Kohat, including attacks on the vehicles of SHO Janikhel in Bannu and a sub-inspector in Kohat.
Minister Naqvi expressed profound sympathy and condolences to the families of the martyred FC and police officers, praising their dedication and ultimate sacrifices in the fight against terrorism. "The sacrifices of our martyrs are beyond repayment and will live on eternally in our hearts," he remarked, calling these sacrifices an "eternal honor" for the nation.
Naqvi acknowledged the bravery of FC and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police personnel, reiterating the government's commitment to supporting the families of the martyrs and standing firm against terrorism.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has paid glowing tribute to Punjab Police for killing ten Khawarij in Mulla Khel area of Mianwali.
In a statement, he appreciated Punjab Police and its Counter-Terrorism Department for timely and effective action against Khawarij.
Shehbaz Sharif said nation is proud of fearless Jawans of the police force and expressed resolve that we will continue to crush the nefarious designs of Khawarij in the same way.
Prime Minister also expressed commitment that war against Khawarij will continue till complete elimination of terrorism from the country.
